23.03.2023 – From this year on, Beg\u00fcm Erciyas<\/a><\/strong> and Myriam Van Imschoot<\/a> <\/strong>will both be continuing their artistic careers within their own non-profits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beg\u00fcm Erciyas<\/a> <\/strong>is part of Outline<\/strong>, an independent artist-run organisation that produces and supports the transdisciplinary work of David Weber-Krebs, Ula Sickle, and herself. All information on Beg\u00fcm’s activities can still be found on her website<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Myriam Van Imschoot<\/strong><\/a> started a new artist-run structure, newpolyphonies vzw<\/strong>, to produce her own art as well as that of the YouYou Group, a Brussels vocal ensemble that Myriam is part of. For Nocturnes for a Society<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, the first creation of this new structure in collaboration with Lucas Van Haesbroeck, Myriam continues her interest in the power of sounding together: the audience will make its own soundtrack to which it falls asleep. A durational composition for both the waking and slumbering mind. The premi\u00e8re will be in Kunstenfestivaldesarts<\/strong> at K1 in co-presentation by Kanal-Centre Pompidou (23, 25, 27 and 28 May). The process regularly opens up during SESSIONS, a format to practice with participatory scores.
