Kate McIntosh is an artist working in theatre, performance and video. From New Zealand and originally trained in dance, she has been performing internationally since 1995 – mostly in dance-theatre, including new works with Wendy Houstoun (UK), Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre, Cie Michele Ann de Mey (Belgium), Random Scream (Belgium), and Simone Aughterlony (Switzerland). <\/p>\n

Since 2000 Kate has been based in Brussels, where she directs her own work – in recent years this has included two solos ( All Natural, and Loose Promise) and one group performance ( Hair From the Throat ). She also directs short videos, which have played at festivals and exhibitions the world over.
Kate is a founding member of the Belgian performance collective and punkrock band Poni. And she has also been a guest exhibitor with the Icelandic visual arts collective Klink&Bank on several occasions.
Kate works with humour, curiosity and a strong belief in the individual on stage.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
