On raconte que pendant l’\u00e9poque coloniale, sur l’Altiplano bolivien, le fleuve Desaguadero et sa nature incontr\u00f4lable furent diabolis\u00e9s par les colons comme \u00ab le Diable \u00bb. Depuis lors, le fleuve s’est ass\u00e9ch\u00e9, se transformant de l\u2019eau au sel apr\u00e8s des si\u00e8cles d\u2019extraction continue. En r\u00e9imaginant le Diable non pas comme une force destructrice mais comme le gardien du fleuve, The River and the Devil <\/em>explore la r\u00e9silience et les vestiges d\u2019histoires fragment\u00e9es. Le fleuve s\u2019est bris\u00e9 en morceaux, se dissimulant et s\u2019approchant de nous sans pr\u00e9venir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00ealant danse, fiction et r\u00e9cits collectifs, la pi\u00e8ce \u00e9voque une sensation de vie au milieu des ruines, questionnant ce qui subsiste quand un fleuve dispara\u00eet. Des figures mythologiques et des esprits qui prot\u00e9geaient autrefois le fleuve demeurent comme des \u00e9chos dans cette m\u00e9ditation poignante sur la perte et l\u2019endurance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
