La \u00ab&nbsp;Plancha&nbsp;\u00bb, comme on appellera plus tard ce genre, a fait rejaillir la musique nostalgique que nos m\u00e8res et nos grands-m\u00e8res \u00e9coutaient quand elles faisaient le m\u00e9nage (m\u00fasica de plancha se traduit litt\u00e9ralement par \u00ab&nbsp;musique pour le repassage&nbsp;\u00bb). Les chansons sont empreintes de th\u00e9\u00e2tralit\u00e9 et c\u00e9l\u00e8brent habituellement la fantaisie et la souffrance de l\u2019amour romantique en lien \u00e9troit avec la culture des <em>telenovelas<\/em> et l\u2019art des <em>transformistas<\/em> (drag queens). Pr\u00e8s de cinquante ans plus tard, la plancha est ainsi devenue une oasis \u00e9motionnelle pour la jeune communaut\u00e9 <em>playo<\/em> de la capitale et constitue une joyeuse bande sonore pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les identit\u00e9s <em>playo<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avec ce premier projet, <em>El cantar del playo<\/em>&#8230; (\u00ab&nbsp;le chant du p\u00e9d\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb), Mario Barrantes Espinoza transforme la sc\u00e8ne en un tableau de souvenirs. Un lieu o\u00f9 m\u00e9lodrame, chansons et po\u00e8mes visuels invoquent ses explorations personnelles de la sexualit\u00e9 et de l\u2019identit\u00e9 queer, selon la perspective d\u2019un migrant centram\u00e9ricain en Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R\u00e9compens\u00e9 par le prix Roel Verniers du het TheaterFestival 2020.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert;
