Correia’s sectoroverschrijdende en hybride praktijk getuigt van haar diepe betrokkenheid bij de ecologische crises als hoedster van de natuur. Sinds 2009 reageert haar werk op de klimaatcrisis en de milieuconflicten van onze tijd door publiek en gemeenschappen in participatieve laboratoria te brengen. Deze tijdelijke samenwerkingsprocessen zijn als een levend organisme dat groeit in verwantschap met ecologen, rivieren, activisten, veerkrachtige planten, milieuadvocaten, beoefenaars van herstelrecht,\u2026 Correia’s visuele installaties, actie-performances en participatieve laboratoria drukken een gevoel uit van geo-politiek, milieubescherming en verwantschap met de meer-dan-menselijke-wereld. Haar artistieke praktijk verweeft rituelen van zorg, belichaamde performance, walking-with-praktijk en sociaal ontwerp om sociale diensten voor het milieu te fabuleren, zoals “Urban Action Clinic”, “Common Dreams School”, “voiceofnatureKINSTITUTE” en “Natural Contract Lab”. Deze voorstellen zijn pogingen om gemeenschappen te betrekken met behulp van instrumenten als natuurrechten, herstellende rechtvaardigheid, milieuverdriet, regeneratief activisme, klimaatoverleving en wederzijdse zorg voor kritieke landschappen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
