So

So is a newly commissioned durational performance by Nikima Jagudajev. Unfolding over several hours, So turns to the house that never was, or is no longer, a home. Drained of light, warmth, and safety, it becomes a site of encounter for those made to feel like strangers.

Sparse scenographic elements, such as a worn couch or a kitchen marked by the remnants of consumption, sketch environments of marginality, where social and political violence are internalized and give rise to apathy and disconnection from self and others.Through subtle invitation, visitors are incorporated into the space where familiar social codes are unsettled, framing feelings of belonging as something not given but continuously negotiated, and where the domestic is reframed as an unstable infrastructure.

Within these settings, performers move through situations that blur the boundaries between fiction and lived experience, drawing the audience into a shifting landscape of tensions, proximities, and fragile intimacies.
