Maxhete

The name hung in the air like smoke.

That was the first time I encountered Maxhete.

Geïnspireerd door anekdotes uit het nachtleven, leyendas van Costa Rica en de Centraal Amerikaanse geschiedenis, verdiept deze performance invocatie zich in de spectrale aanwezigheid van Maxhete — een entiteit geboren uit mythe, geheugen en de echoes van de verhalen die weigeren begraven te worden.
