Sector day performing arts

18.12.2025 – In collaboration with Kunstenpunt, Hiros is organising a sector meeting to stimulate dialogue and networking within the performing arts field.

Which platforms and organisations support creators within the performing arts? What forms of support and development are lacking? How can we work together to create a sustainable field in which players reinforce and complement each other?

In the run-up to the upcoming deadline for operational subsidies (2028-2032), together we will discuss the roles we can take on, how artists and art workers can organise and structure themselves, and how we can arrive at a shared vision that strengthens the field and creates space for development.

Programme
In the morning, various development, production and presentation structures will discuss their vision of the field, the upcoming round of operating subsidies, and the opportunities they see for new collaborations and structures.

In the afternoon, we will focus on networking and exchange by and for creators & art workers who are considering applying for an operational grant. We will create space for questions, knowledge sharing and possible matches between (new) artistic partners.
